Enough whingeing, Oz

Sir: I feel like the second Alice von Schlief- fen — or perhaps Gavrilo Princip, with Kim Fletcher (New South wails', 17 January) as Archduke Franz Ferdinand. My letter (31 January) was the first shot in the Anglo- Australian War of Fletcher's Whinge on your Letters page.

This war is now out of control, and I appeal to my fellow countrymen to take no further part in it. After all, we don't want English hacks to think their opinion actual- ly matters, now do we?
