Letters received in the City yesterday speak of a formidable
insurrection of twenty-five individuals which had been discovered and put down by a sergeant's guard in the town of Frankfort. The army of twenty-fivewas not embodied, but its leaders had issued a proclamation, inviting the Germans to rise and to put down all despots, —specialiter the Archduee CHARLES, Prince METTER- NICH, the King of PRUSSIA, the Emperor NICHOLAS, and the King of HOLLAND : Some accou7.ts add the Duke of NEWCASTLE and Arr. HUNT of Preston. The Chronicle says it looks like a green bog; to our vision it very much resembles a whale.
