Sra,—A letter in your paper (October 7th) points out that there is an excellent lending library for the blind in London.

I should like to add that there is also one in Manchester, belonging to the Manchester and Salford Blind Aid Society. This library not only provides for the many blind folks under the care of the Society, but already five neighbouring towns subscribe, and have baskets of books, periodically exchanged, for their blind people.—I am, Sir, &c., ISA.BEL M.
