[To THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR.")
Sra,—The correspondence in the Spectator has reminded me vaguely of some " Limericks " relating to Exeter College (my own College) and to Jesus College (in which I have a paternal interest through a scholar-
elect who joined the forces two years ago). Wili some of my old friends complete the versos for me ? (But are oven the lint* I send accurate ?):— "There was an old follow of Exeter Who kissed a young lady and vexed her."
"There was a young scholar of Jesus, Who wasn't so rich as a Creases, His home was in Wales, In his shoos he wore nails."
