LAMB'S RETORTS TO COLERIDGE AND WORDSWORTH. [To THE EDITOR OF

THE " SPECTATOR."' SIR,—" Ancient Mariner " is quite right. It was Coleridge, not Wordsworth, to whom Lamb said, when asked if he had heard him preach, " I never heard you do anything else." A lady had already pointed out my error to me. Her remark sent me to the classical Life of Lamb, by my old friend Canon Ainger. It will be found on page 102.
