The contract of Sir JOHN KEY, ostensibly in the name
of his broths,, with the Stationery department, has been very properly cancelled ;—ause- ful warning to all future evil-disposed persons, having designs on the public purse. Report says, that Mr. HAYDON, in his nearly-finished pic- ture of the Presentation of the Freedom of the City to Lord Gags and the other Ministers, has lately brushed out the effigy of Mr. Kisiessunn KEY, who was originally looking over his father's shoulde and substituted, in preference to that study, the Recorder's wig!
