The Songs of Robert Burns. Tales of a Traveller. By

Washington Irving. (Bell and Daldy.)—We feel bound to call attention to these specimens of what the publishers call their Elzevir series. It is of a rather larger size than the well-known pocket volumes, so as to be more suitable for presents. Printed at the Chiswick Press, type and paper are admirable, and the, correctness of the text is wonderful ; the cloth bindings, too, are most tasteful. We consider this series to be a perfect model of what a book which is to be read, not studied, and which will go into one volume, ought to be.
