SIR,—The attack made on a worthy and honourable man like Mr. Tallack induces me to write a few words. It is surelY going very far to impute untruthfulness to him. He was undoubtedly well known to my father, and the anecdote he tells seems to me to be both probable and harmless. Mrs. Fawcett's letter amazes me.—I am, Sir, &c.,
