Phial bodies
From Mr Walter Kennedy Sir: At a crucial presentation at the UN, Colin Powell produced a phial of look-alike anthrax and described the harm done by an equivalent amount in the anthrax attacks in the USA immediately following 9/11 — in the context of debate on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.
But the anthrax attacks in the US were demonstrably the work of well-placed insiders: the anthrax came from Fort Detrick; the number one suspect remains the ex-commandant, aided by his colleagues still at the facility; and there was an unsuccessful attempt to set up an Egyptian-born scientist as a patsy — all as an initially diligent investigation by the FBI exposed. This is not conspiracy conjecture — it has been well documented even on television.
The worry is, if they can infer from the mere existence of US-made anthrax that Iraq is a possible source of such attacks, how can we rely on the quality of their other evidence?
