The Council of King's College will give a soiree on

the 22d (this day week) to a large party of men eminent in literatere and art. The invita- tions are not fewer than 1500. The contributions of art which are to grace the rooms on the occasion are to be arranged by the taste and Judgment of Professor Delamotte.
