ME Queen held a Privy Council at Windsor Castle when it was ordered that Parliament should be further prorogued, and the day was fixed for the opening of the session of 1859. The Earl of Derby, Mr. Walpole, and Sir John Pakington had audiences of the Queen.

The Prince of Wales left Windsor Castle on Monday and proceeded to the continent He has reached Brussels and has been made much of in that capital.

The list of guests at Windsor Castle includes the names of the Earl of Derby, the Earl of Carnarvon, Lord Eversley, Lord and Lady Leigh, Mr. Henley, the Marquis of Lansdowne, the Earl and Countess of Shelborne, Prince Edward of Saxe Weimar, the Earl and Countess of Stanhope, and the Earl of Warwick.
