SOMEBODY IS always discovering that the Russians also are human,

and, now that co-existence is the rage, that they can do lots of things really rather well. For example. there was that `roving woman reporter' who reported breathlessly on Tuesday that she had just been to the Russian Embassy to get her visa for Moscow. She had obviously been surprised by the accom- modating manner of the official she dealt with, who said, `That'll be 18s., please,' and, `Take anything you want; there are no restrictions.' No wonder this roving woman reporter began to feel somewhat dizzy. But—trust the trained reporter —not too dizzy to let thp significant detail escape her. For the big, handsome, blond Russian handed back the roving woman reporter's passport not only politely but efficiently. Fancy that : without even dropping it once! People who can do that obviously aren't as bad as they've been painted.
