Sllt,—One is usually glad to find a milder term substituted for a strong expression dropped in haste, but I have no reason to re- pent of calling the Judas of your reviewer's hypothesis a "vulgar fiend,"—which your " printer's devil," with pardonable family feeling, has altered into " vulgar friend."—I am, Sir, &c.,
