Selbourne supporters

Sir: Paul Barker's statement that Mr Sel- bourne 'got no support from the AUT' (The savaging of Selbourne', 8 November) is untrue. He asked for and was given support in his dispute with Ruskin College. It appeared that the problem had been resolved. He however subsequently re- signed from the AUT.
