At the ADELPBI they have got up the lively little
burletta Catching an Heiress, in which Mrs. NISBETT and her sister acted so cleverly ; -.Mrs. YATES taking Mrs. NISBETT'S part, and personating the fop- ling, and Mrs. STIRLING appearing as her tiger. It went off admirably. Mrs. YATES looked a proper little gentleman, without appearing ha. .modest ; and both she and Mrs. STIRLING entered into the spirit .of the fun most heartily. YATES and HEMMING were the two of. -Cell; YATES grimaced Major Killingley with drollery that verged on the extravagant, but answered the end by making people laugh; and REEVE as Tom Twig revelled in buffoonery. JOHN has been giving some of his imitations—that of FARREN is still capital.
