Sir: Spare my grandson, aged five. Your brilliant front-cover cartoon (1 October) showed smiling Bambi Blair, blood drip- ping from his teeth, with Thumper Major a scavenged corpse at his feet. Jack trem- bled, held my hand and foretold night- mares.
