the Princedom of Wales. It s strange that so shadowy a boon to Ireland should be expected to do some sort of good in that country—stranger still that it is likely enough to do some good. But the direct reciprocation even of a titular honour hetween the Queen's heir and Ireland's capital at least assures the impressible Irish that they are thought of in the highest quarters : to the sufferer sympathy is dearer even than help, but royal sympathy means help.
