Last night's Gazette announces Mr. John Pine's Baronetcy and it

states that the honour of Knighthood has been conferred on Mr. William Drysdale, of Pittuchar in Fife ; Mr. James Campbell, Lord Provost of Glasgow ; Mr. Henry Thomas de la Beche, Director of the Ordnance Geological Survey of Great Britain ; and Major George Gun Munro, of the Ross-shire Militia and of Poyntzfield in Cromarty.
