Hung for a lamb

Sir: I was bewildered to read a piece by Derek Draper (Media studies', 9 January) in which he claims that he and I had a tele- phone conversation about the 'Notting Hill Gate' affair, a conversation which never took place. I was off work on the day he mentions and had not spoken to him for months.

How much else in the article was not true, I wonder?
