The engagement of Princess Maud, second daughter of the Princess

Royal, to Lord Carnegie, eldest son of Lord Southesk, was announced last Sunday, and was received with general pleasure. Princess Maud was born in 1893. She is an intimate friend of Princess Mary, and was a bridesmaid at her wedding. Lord Carnegie is a Captain in the Scots Guards.
