Barnsbury again
Sir: The Barnsbury Association were delighted with the article by Mr Patrick nutber entitled 'Barnsbury again' (26 May).
At the present moment we are still waiting to hear from the steering committee setting out details of their offer to institute genuine consultation. The delay is giving my association considerable concern but we are still hoping that Mr Patrick Hutber's prediction that something may be saved will prove correct, though any delay reduces the likelihood of constructive consultations taking place before all the ministry's proposals are com- pleted.
We are very grateful to you for the interest shown in our problems and will certainly keep you in- formed of progress.
