Mr Reuben Ainsztein

In two articles last year Mr Christopher Booker accused Mr Reuben Ainsztein of the Sunday Times of deliberately distorting the evidence about the repatriation by Britain of Russian prisoners in 1945, and of a degree of pro-Jewish racial prejudice such as to render him incapable of viewing historical events objectively. Both we and Mr Booker have made a court apology to Mr Ainsztein, and have paid him substantial damages, for these wholly unfounded accusations and for the distress and embarrassment they caused him.
