OWLS IN LONDON.
[TO TEE EDITOR OF TEE "SPECTATOR."]
SIR,—With regard to the letter on this subject in your issue of March 9th, I may mention that in Ladbroke Square we have periodical visits from an owl who hoots loudly throughout the night. Sometimes the bird can he heard as eurly as 7.30 p.m., and conies many nights in succession, after which it is often absent for a long period. I presume it is a visitor from Kensington Gardens.—I am, Sir, &o., F. G. D.
