After lasting for ten days, the trial of Mr. and

Mrs. Seddon at the Old Bailey for poisoning their lodger, Miss Barrow, came to an end on Thursday evening. The jury found Mrs. Seddon not guilty and Seddon guilty. In view of the fact that the case is to come before the Court of Criminal Appeal, we can make no comment upon the verdict. We may observe, however, that the Judge appeared to regard it as fully justified.
