Kurrachee : Past, Present, and Future. By Alexander F. Millie.
(Thacker, Spink, and Co., Calcutta; Simpkin, Marshall, and Co,
London.)—It is the third of the three subjects of which this volume treats that is the really interesting one. Many people believe that Kurrachee is the Indian city of the future. Doubt- less there is much to be said ; but the question is far too grave and complicated to be discussed in these columns. Meanwhile, Mr. Baillie has brought together in this handsome volume a vast amount of interesting matter which may help in the forming of a judgment.
