. A Goon DIVIDEND STATEMENT.

The £1 shares of Tate and Lyle, Ltd., have risen during the past week on the announcement of a final dividend of 161 per cent., making 221 per cent. for the year, compared with 17 per cent. for the previous year. Moreover, the directors are able to place 1150,000 to the Reserve, and a similar amount to Taxation Equalization Reserve. Altogether the profit statement Would seem to indicate that there may have been an increase in profits for the year of something over

£250,000. •
