ITO THE EDITOR OP THE "SPECTATOR."'
SIR,—May I correct an error in my letter of last week on this subject ? I did not intend to say " many cottagers . . . are glad to receive four boys and girls for the summer holiday," but " town boys and girls." The correction is of some importance, because four is an unusually large number to be received in one house, and boys and girls are not taken to board in the same home.—I am, Sir, ac., Long Marton Rectory, Westmorland. R. W. HARRIS.
