Will of the week Sir Harold Mario Mitchell Acton, KBE,

of Villa La Pietra, Via Bolognese, Flo- rence, Italy, the historian and aesthete, who died on Feb. 27th last, aged 89, left estate in England and Wales valued at £61,952 gross, £61,577 net. He left a number of personal bequests, and the remainder of his estate, including his home and his paintings and objects of art known as the 'Acton Collection', to New York University, to maintain as a centre of studies.
