Sir: Some Etonians were quick off the mark when trying to capitalise on Prince

William's presence at the school (Media studies, 10 February). While covering the Prince's arrival for the Express, I was approached by two 14-year-olds who had been at Ludgrove prep school with him and who promised to sell me 'the dirt'. One even claimed to have one of the Prince's exercise books, which was also on sale. I made my excuses and left.
