SIR,-My attention has just been called to a notice in your issue of July 3rd of my edition of R. Zouche's work, with which the Carnegie Institution commenced, in 1911, its republication of the Classics of International Law. Perhaps you will kindly state that the epithet "late" which in that notice precedes the editor's name is a misdescription of your obedient servant,
