BETWEEN the brown bill of a bird
All a heart's passion I have heard Through the June night, singing and singing.
World to destruction going, world Where life is dying under the unfurled Flag of destruction, after all the years, Wars, tyrannies and peace, How is it that this music feeds The heart of sorrow more than all the creeds Men make in centuries of unimaginable years ?
