Y murdered on the 9th of February at Li The unfortunate gentleman left his hotel at three o'clock in the afternoon, to take a bath ; his friends were waiting for him to dine, but he never returned. His body was afterward found, and a despatch addressed to Captain Miller was still on his person but his ring and watch were stolen. The back of his head was fractured. and his forehead fearfully cut. His wrists bore signs of a fearful struggle with his murderers.
