Yugoslav Adventure, by William Woods (Deutsch, 15s.): American novelist goes
off to Yugoslavia with his wife and three small daughters and potters-about, seeing a good deal and divin- ing even more with a bright, self-conscious eye. They meet Tito, who turns out quite human, like this and dislike that, more or less as any visitor from the West would. Genial, intelligent, but in its final effect rather hazy.
