The Maids of Lee, written by F. E. Weatherly, illustrated

by W.I. Hodgson (Hildesheimer and Faulkner), is decidedly good. The various suitors are depicted with pleasant humour in some good drawings, to which the verso supplies a suitable accompaniment.
