Pinta girl
From Mr Peter Moore Sir: She will be outraged at such sexism, but I wonder if Mary Wakefield has the slightest notion of how much she lost many of us older readers by her remarks at the beginning of her article (`Randy dons', 11 August): 'One evening I looked over my pint down the bar. . . Towards closing time he walked over and stood beside me.' Pint! Closing time! A girl! 0 tempora, 0 mores! Who has changed? The girls or the lecturers?
