Not that titillated

Sir: Had I known my handwriting was so unreadable I would not have forgotten to put my address on my letter to you (11 January). Had I done so, I might have anticipated a flood of semi-erotic, erotic and possibly pornographic literature through my letter- box: the reason being, the word you read as wildly was in fact mildly. Alas my winter evenings will have to be spent in front of the television.
