NAVAL GAZETTE, ADMIRALTY, June 6.—In consideration of the services of

the undermentioned of- ficers, while cooperating with the army during the war in Kaffraria, the following naval promotions have this day taken place : To be Capt.—Commander W. K. Hall. To be Master—Mr. C. Albert, Second Master. To be Surg.—Mr. J. Elliott, Assist.- Burg. The Board have further directed Mr. H. Baillie, Midshipman, to be noted for favourable consideration for promotion to the rank of Lieut. when he shall have passed the required examinations.
