The Sultan has determined to employ some of the vessels
which he had destined to act against MEHEMET ALI, ill aiding the Pacha of Tripoli against his rebellious kinsman ; who was abetted by the British Consul, Mr. WARRINGTON. The conduct of; this gentle- man appears to have been most extraordinary. Mr. Vti UUUNG- TONS own commercial establishment is the only British one which exists in Tripoli, and ye i; he has been himself Consul there for a number of years with a large salary, besides a Vice-Consul, interpreter, and others.
