The Victoria also brought out a new farce, called The
Irish Gentle- man ; in which H. WALLACE, as a footman, personates his master, and makes love to a lady in the assumed character. The situations re- semble those of Teddy the Tiler ; but WALLACE has neither the case, the neatness, the sly humour, nor the gentlemanlike manner of Powra; who is never vulgar.
