Modern Cremation : its History and Practice. By Sir H.
Thompson. (Kegan Paul, Trench, and Co.)—Sir Henry Thompson states the case for the practice of cremation with all the ability and all the fullness of knowledge which we should expect from him. To come to an important practical detail, we gather from the facts given in the appendix, that a corpse may be cremated for about .215, including the cost of removal from the residence of the deceased to the Woking Crematorium.
