I am not inclined perhaps to regard with the same favour the fact that for the past quarter there was a :decline in our Imports of over £5,000,000, especially as the fall was almost entirely, under the ,hmid of raw materials. Nevertheless, from the point uf view of die sterling exchange, it is all to the good that 'the visible.; adveise trade balance for the Oast quarter of L58,900,000 is £15,000,900 less than for the corresponding quarter of last ,year ' -
