Co.) —These three bulky volumes dealing with the history and life of Manchester are brightly and pleasantly written. The illustra- tions by Mr. Tidmarsh, which are in the style of the best illustrated papers, are distinctly successful, and by their vivacity add to the enjoyment of the book.
