Much as we admire the achievements of the Canadian nation,

we cannot pretend to suppose that the British public will take much interest in the Political Reminiscences of Sir Charles Tupper (Constable and Co., 7s. 6d. net), which deal with controversies of local interest, and even in Canada must seem very like "could kail made het again."
