promised lec- ture on Certain Auditory enomena" was delivered at the Royal Institution last evening by Professor Tyndall, who pointed out the ad- vantages of binaural hearing in the analysis of sounds, and exhibited a new and simple form of stethescope, constructed on the principle of sound being intensified in its passage through fluid.
