The proposal to admit the students of Girton and Newnham
to the Cambridge degree examinations, and to grant them certi- ficates of the manner in which they pass those examinations, is to be discussed next week in the Cambridge Senate, and will certainly excite a very strong opposition, in spite of the almost unanimous recommendation of the Syndicate appointed to examine the subject. Our own view will be found, in another column.
