Canada's Peace Campaign The " peace drive " which a

number of leaders of public opinion in Canada are organizing is in line with the attitude the senior Dominion has habitually adopted at international conferences at Geneva and elsewhere. With " the education of public opinion on ways of preserving peace " as the guiding principle, the wireless, the Press, the churches, universities, clubs and schools are all being used as vehicles for getting the mind of the people focussed on aims and methods. Canada, with the equal loyalty of her two races and with her historic undefended southern frontier, has a peculiar contribution to make to any discussion on reconciliation and confidence, and the campaign about to be launched will not fail to make its impression in the United States as well as in this country and the other Dominions. If they hope to escape entanglement in a new war it is essential that, like Canada, they should study practical means for maintaining peace.
