Sir: I would have entered Jaspistos's com- petition (5 January) asking for parodies of Private Eye had you not prematurely pub- lished what I presume to be Frederic Raphael's winning entry — an excellent if somewhat extreme parody of Private Eye's parody of the Spectator Diary — in the same issue.
