Long-term Work

There i. a solid satisfaction in having a good heap of compost or manure it the garden when it ids needed, and there is -even more satisfaction in having bedding and border plants available in the season. This month is the time for sowing biennials such as lupin, delphinium, wallflower, Canterbury bell, pansies, polyanthus, &c., which will be ready for planting out next spring.
