The Madrid Correspondent of the Morning Chronicle states, that on

the morning of the 8th instant, " Mr. Hotian, the correspondent of the Morning Herald, was sent from Madrid to Badajoz, in a carriage, and accompanied by some officers of Police. This measure was executed by order of the Civil Governor of Madrid."
