Boyd Carpenter, M.A. (Hodder and Stoughton.)—These sketches of fifteen eminent preachers, from John Chrysostom to Dean Kirwan, an Irish clergyman, celebrated for his success in drawing collections by charity-sermons, are reprints from the Clergyman's Magazine. They are slight, but lively and entertaining, and may in- duce some readers to study for themselves the subjects of them.
